Do pulled teeth along with braces hurt?

I have to get braces in a few days and i want to know if it hurts along with getting 4 teeth pulled will it hurt

nope. when i had braces i had to get 8 teeth pulled. 4 were grownup teeth. it doesnt hurt, its just a little sore for two days. for braces, take a lot of advil. they will hurt for 2-5 days afterwards. but getting teeth pulled doesnt make the pain worse so noo worries.
Reply:Ouch. i don%26#039;t know if it will or not because I never had my teeth pulled when I got braces. I got an expander. Just wondering do you really them to be pulled?
Reply:Well you probably wont feel the teeth being pulled and braces arent that bad. For the first day they dont hurt at all. then for about a week. They may hurt. But after that they dont hurt so much.
Reply:if you%26#039;re getting your teeth pulled with oral surgery (like, they have to open the gums) it%26#039;s a bit sore after but nothing terrible. it%26#039;s been awhile since i%26#039;ve had that done but from what i remember, only a few days worth of any soreness. braces are actually the same. when i got mine, it was okay for about an hour then it hurt really badly. take tylenol or advil and chew sugarless gum immediately after they do it (it helps with the pressure). also, even though it hurts to eat hard food, start chewing a little bit after maybe a day. that helps the pressure in the same way gum goes. after that, it%26#039;ll only hurt for a day or so every time you get them tightened

The pulling the teeth part didnt really hurt for him becuase they numbed his mouth so he couldnt feel it but he had a tough time with the braces and a very sore mouth.





Whereas, I never had teeth pulled, I just had expanders and my braces didnt bother me much at all.
Reply:well i got teeth pulled and if your pain tolerance is similar to mine then you won%26#039;t notice the braces, because the pain from your teeth being pulled will be so bad you will want to be in a medicinal coma for like three days.
Reply:well i have braces,it will definetly hurt, when i first got them, they began to hurt, i could barely eat, after couple months, you start to get used to them.........soo yeah......they change your wire every 1-2 months. Braces always hurt, but i have clear ones, metal ones kinda hurt more than clear.
Reply:gettin the teeth pulled will only hurt when they give you the numbing shots...but it isnt bad....for the braces...it doesnt hurt to get them put on...but they will be very sore for a couple days after....before you get them on you should go shopping and make sure you have plenty of soft foods like pudding oatmeal and applesauce
